Farm & Cottage
Our beloved Holly Cottage sits by a field in the heart of 214.4 forested acres on the headwaters of a greatly imperiled river, the North Edisto, one of the two headwaters of the incredible Edisto River System. The Edisto is the longest unimpeded blackwater river in the Americas and drains into the Atlantic, creating the famous ACE basin. Here, Gary and I have committed to forest restoration and river protection as well as attempting a variety of conservation projects that will protect and re-introduce native and at risk medicinal herbs and other plants and trees as well as providing crucial habitat to incredibly diverse wildlife .

Herbs
If you're interested in herbal healing alternatives, you are not alone. Experts claim that the Herbal Medicine Market will surpass $430 Billion by the year 2028. But not all herbal products are created equally! And you can't just use an herb like you would pop a pill for an instant result for something.

Herbs are subtle. They are interactive with each other and with medications. The sourcing of herbs is a realm fraught with challenges and even improper practices.

But there are ways for the "ordinary" person or family to easily incorporate safe herbal healing into their lives. I am committed to sharing my decades-long journey of serious herbal study and service to clients with the general public in a variety of ways, including this website and our social media as well as our local internet and TV shows, many of which will be highlighted here.

OUR STORY

The goal of The Palmetto Network – (TPN), is to connect South Carolinians to their memories of growing up in the Palmetto State.

We do this by showcasing the talents and skills of people in SC to others across the United States and throughout the world.
Also we are committed to giving these talented people of SC a platform to share their creative productions, services and products.

You can view TPN online at

ThePalmettoNetwork.com,

and soon on ROKU and Amazon Fire TV.

Unlike traditional TV, we provide a unique variety of programming without typical time restraints. Programs can be 2 minutes, 2 hours or anywhere in between – a further guarantee of the ability to create and provide exceptional content that is not edited into a cookie-cutter program mode.

TPN has content produced by Independent film makers like John Barnhardt of Barnfly Productions, production companies and other creatives throughout SC.

We have Palmetto Network Originals, like Carolina Roots with TJ Phillips, featuring musicians of all genres who are from right here in SC. Also in production are Road Trippin’ with Jake Barlow, Charleston City Paper Live and Scenic South Carolina, just to name a few.

The Palmetto Vault features shows like Variety Cooking and Gourmet Fishing that have been produced over the years by or for South Carolinians.
And like other networks, there is News, Weather and Sports, but with a twist: We will only focus on the POSITIVE and INSPIRATIONAL news across the state. And, yes, we will have LIVE programs such as concerts and sports.
So make sure to follow us online and on social media,

THE PALMETTO NETWORK – ALL THINGS SC.
